　　It is necessary to save money because without it, you can hardly do anything. If you spend money all the time, you will find that you won't have enough of it to pay for things you need or want. This is especially true when the economy is weak or when you lose your job. There's an old saying which goes, "Save money for a rainy day." A rainy day might come when a crisis happens and you need money that you don't have.

　　By saving money now, you can make plans to enjoy your life in the future. You can save up to go on a nice vacation. Also, you can save money to buy a car and eventually an apartment. If you don't save money, you will be very poor in the future.

　　存钱是必要的，因为要是没有钱的话，你几乎什么事都不能做。如果你总是在花钱，你会发觉自己没有足够的钱支付你需要或想要的东西。这种情形尤其是当经济不景气或是你失去工作时更为明显。俗话说得好：『未雨绸缪。』有一天危机可能会来临，而你就会需要你没有的那笔钱。

　　藉由现在存钱，你可以安排计划在将来好好享受人生。你可以存钱来度过一个美好的假期。此外，你还可以存钱来买车，最后还可以买房子。如果你不存钱，你将来会很贫穷。

　　In my mind, the importance of saving money for the future is exaggerated. Almost every day, people tell us that we need to set money aside in case of emergencies or for retirement. According to these people, unless we save a large percentage of our salaries, we are doomed to live in poverty in our old age. Such warnings tend to make us overly worried and uncertain about the future.

　　In reality, though, I believe it is better to spend money while we are young and able to enjoy what money can buy. If we save almost all of the money we earn, we deprive ourselves of life's pleasures. What good is having a stack of money when we are too old to enjoy it? Our savings will certainly benefit our children, but at a very high cost to ourselves. Ultimately, I believe spending money while enjoying life is the best course of action.

　　就我认为，为了将来而存钱的重要性被过份夸大了。人们几乎每一天都在告诉我们应该要为了紧急状况或是退休后的生活而存钱。根据这些人的说法，除非我们存下大部份的薪水，否则我们注定会在年老时过着贫困的生活。这样的警告往往会造成我们对于未来过度担忧及充满不确定性。

　　然而，事实上我认为在我们年轻并可以享受金钱能够买来的东西时花钱比较好。假如我们将所赚的钱几乎全部都存起来，我们就会剥夺了自己生活的乐趣。当我们拥有一大笔钱，却已经老到不能好好享受时，那又有什么用呢？我们的存款无疑地会对我们的孩子带来益处，但我们自己却要付出相当大的代价。最后，我认为花钱享受人生是最棒的作法。
